One of the issues addressed by the Frankenstein story is our mortality. Certainly, death doesn't make sense when you were made to live forever. We definitely desire immortality for ourselves and our loved ones. LIke the story of ole Frank here, man's attempts at immortality all fall short. Only Jesus is risen from the dead and can give eternal life to all who repent of sin (which brings death in the first place) surrender their lives to Him in faith.
Practicing painting in GIMP. From a doodle of the classic monster Frankenstein started in Inkscape. It looks more like the Frank in Hotel Transylvania than Boris Karloff. It's kind of a mess but a lot of fun.

A cartoon version of a silverback gorilla. Painted in Mypaint. Beutiful and awe inspiring creatures. I wouldn't want to mess with one.
We see the beauty and creativity of our creator and also His fierce and awe inspiring nature. God is beautiful but don't mess with Him. C.S. Lewis said of Aslan, He's not a tame lion. He's not safe, but He is good. O-Boy, the little robot hero. A webcomic I am working on where the King of Light takes the form of a child to rescue his creations from the darkness of the evil Glooma.
A worn out Santa's helper takin' a cocoa break. Elf character design in Inkscape.
Matthew 11:28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” |
